Ukraine: Ports have shipped 212,000 t of barley
According to ProAgro information, Ukraine has shipped 212,000 t of barley by sea in May, which is month-on-moth 9% more. In April, Ukraine supplied to international markets 194,400 t of barley by sea.
Saudi Arabia was the main destination of the Ukrainian barley 190,000 t of barley (90% of the overall shipped barley). In comparison to April figures, May imports to this country evaluated slightly.
In the mean tine, Morocco acquired 21,000 t of barley from Ukraine.
The Southern port processed most of these quantities: Ukrainian exporters shipped through its docks 106,300 t (50% of the overall maritime barley export) of barley. 57,300 t were shipped through Ismail port, 41,900 t through Odessa port and 6,500 through Herson port.
